How do I book?
You can book online at any time by choosing your treatment, selecting a day and time that suits you, and following the prompts to confirm your appointment. If you prefer to chat first or can’t find a time that works, you’re welcome to contact me directly and I’ll help you book in.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are not refundable for late cancellations or missed appointments, but they can usually be transferred if you give enough notice to reschedule. Please see the cancellation and rescheduling policy below for full details.
Do I need a consultation first?
Some treatments, especially cosmetic tattooing and more advanced skin services, do require a consultation before your first appointment. This can often be done as a short in-person or virtual consult where we discuss your goals, medical history and suitability for treatment. I’ll guide you on whether a consultation is needed when you enquire or book.
Is aftercare provided?
Yes. After every treatment, you’ll receive clear aftercare instructions, including what to expect, what to avoid, and how to look after your skin or tattoo as it heals. For some services, I’ll also recommend specific home-care products to support your results and help you feel comfortable during the healing process.
Is parking available?
Yes. There is convenient parking available near the salon. Details on where to park safely and easily will be included with your booking confirmation.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure all appointments. This helps keep the diary running smoothly and ensures your time is held just for you. The deposit is deducted from the total on the day of your treatment.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
I kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your
appointment. Changes made within this time, or missed appointments, may result in the loss of your deposit and/or a fee, as it is unlikely I can fill the space at short notice. I do understand that life happens; if you’re unwell or something unexpected comes up, please contact me as soon as you can.

How do I prepare for my appointment?
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive any specific pre-care instructions for your treatment. In general, please arrive with clean skin (no heavy makeup on the area being treated), avoid active skincare and tanning products on the area for a short period beforehand, and let me know about any recent procedures, medications or health changes.

Where are you located?
Urban Beauty + Wellness is a private, home-based salon located in the heart of Bruce, Canberra. The exact address and directions are provided in your confirmation message once your booking is secured.
Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept card payments, cash and contactless payments for your convenience. Your deposit is paid securely at the time of booking, and the remaining balance can be settled in-salon on the day of your appointment.
